With varying body structures, one needs to put on different styles of clothes to look the best version of herself. Following are a few tips you need to take care of if you haven’t taken care of yourself yet:
1. Tight dresses
With a tight and body hugging dress, even if you are perfectly shaped, some area in your body might get highlighted, giving an illusion of a fatter version of you. Body hugging dresses will make you look heavier than you really are; also this isn’t attractive at all.
2. Wide skirts
On many girls, these kind of skirts might look good but on most, these don’t. Most of the girls look a little on the bulky side after wearing these skirts. If you need to go ahead with wearing a skirt, try to keep it narrow or a little above knee.
3/4th pants do not look that flattering on a girl as they make your thighs look enhanced. Having the thighs looked heavier, you don’t look as slim as you might really be. Either go for pants or shorts. The combination of both doesn’t work.
4. Extra-large clothes
Do not wear clothes with a larger size than yours. You must go with your standard size which makes you look the way you are, neither slimmer nor fatter. Bigger size clothes do hide your current body fat, only to make you look fatter rather than slimmer.
Avoid wearing layers until and unless necessary. Layers hide your body shape and create an illusion of adding extra pounds. Avoid wearing layers as much as you can. You might think that too many layers hide your body fat, but instead, they make you look fatter. Layers never hide a large waist line.
6. Wrong fitted blouse
Do not wear a tight blouse as it would look unattractive. This would make you look fatter than you actually are. It reveals your body fat like nothing else, so it is always better to wear blouse which fits you the best.
7. High necklines
High necklines make your neck appear shorter, making you look fatter. With high necklines, you do not look slim, rather you tend to look old. So, try to wear tops with necklines that do nothing but flaunt your neck. The neck should look longer.
8. Broader waist tops
The tops which give an appearance of larger waist must be avoided. An example of such tops and dresses is empire waist top. Such tops go smoothly till your bust area and then spread like a frock, giving no shape to you waist, making it look only broader.
9. Horizontal strips
Horizontal strips provide an illusion of a fatter body, while vertical lines make you look long and thin. Wearing vertical lines is the key to looking smart and tall. Just one change in your outfit work wonders.
